I recently read that a buffalo raised in captivity can live to 30-40 years. Compare that to a buffalo living free in a location such as Yellowstone, lives an average of 15-20 years. Now imagine yourself a buffalo; and you are given the choice of living a secure life in captivity, or a much shorter life, but free. High reward, high risk vs solace & security. Or another way of saying it, Quality vs Quantity. Which would you choose?
Started that conversation with a woman at “Art Farm”, but we were cut short. In light of recent developments in both this woman’s life and my own, I would very much like to continue the conversation. I hope I get that opportunity someday soon.
