Reflecting back and over what I see as the best of my art for 2016. I didn’t create as many pieces this past year as in some years before. Some of that is a result of making an unexpected move, but that all worked out for the best. The biggest reason is because I am trying to create more meaningful art, I want the art to tell a story. I want the art to serve a purpose. It’s a direction that will continue into 2017.
“All will pass, money, large estates, even kingdoms are doomed to vanish. But if there is only one grain of true art in our work, it will live forever.” ~ Leo Tolstoy
