July 5, through the 9th, Chris Carlson, Randy Segura and myself went to the Reno Chalk Art Festival to work together on a large, interactive, 3D piece of artwork. From there, all three of us got to do a separate piece on our own. A chance to experiment and hone our skills, without the pressure of being in competition. I want to thank Chris and Randy both for all their support and help. They defined the term “wingman” on this trip.
This is a photo collage of my finished piece showing the air racer, Voodoo, a highly modified P-51 Mustang. Here Voodoo is taking a tight turn on an iconic RENO pylon. The collage contains photos taken by; Ty O’Neil of ThisisReno, Sarah Litz of the Reno Gazette-Journal, and Vinnie Oaks.
